Eugene is a Director of Collins & May Law Limited. He is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington and has been with Collins & May since 1998. Eugene runs our litigation and employment team. He also provides business and restructure advice. Eugene holds a Certificate in Workplace Investigations from the Association of Workplace Investigators Institute in the United States. He is also a licenced Private Investigator under the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010 and undertakes workplace investigations throughout New Zealand. Prior to becoming a lawyer Eugene worked for the New Zealand Police investigating serious crime.
Outside of work Eugene has always been passionate about endurance sports having represented New Zealand at the World Championship Ironman in Hawaii, he has competed in Ultra-endurance cycling and running and holds the New Zealand 24hr Indoor Velodrome Cycling record which he set in 2013.
Rather than competing he now focuses on supporting his wife Fiona and following his 3 children’s academic and sporting pursuits.
