We, the Collins & May Law team would like to announce that on 1 September Collins & May Law amalgamated with Paul May Law. Paul May originally joined the Lloyd Collins Law Office in December 1992, before leaving the partnership in September 2010 and starting Paul May Law. Now in September 2022, we welcome him back.
Paul will be working in a consultancy role alongside the Collins & May team.
Paul will be predominantly working alongside Collins & May’s newest Director – Simone Seddon. On 1 April 2022, Simone became a Director of the Firm. We sat down with her this month to get to know a little more about her and her new role –
Simone started her legal career with Collins & May in October 2013 interviewing as a graduate where Lloyd Collins (a former Director) noted that she was the most nervous interviewee he had ever had. Nine years later, she is now one our most experienced solicitors and often the Firm’s go-to person when we need help.
Simone works in Property Law, Estates, Trusts, Wills and Powers of Attorney. The area of law Simone enjoys working in the most is Property Law where she enjoys helping first home buyers or clients upgrading their property to better suit their changing needs.
Simone’s favourite thing about working at Collins & May Law is working alongside the team here. Simone works closely with Hannah Warburton and Julia Bacon of our office who she has been mentoring for 18 months and 10 months respectively.
As the newest Director, Simone doesn’t see her role at Collins & May changing too much. Rather she hopes to be able to continue assisting younger solicitors in their careers and giving back by providing the same support to others that she has received while working here.
Simone hopes that in her new role that she will be able to keep Collins & May progressing with the times and continue working alongside our team to meet our client’s legal needs. As of right now, she is looking forward to enjoying her new role and working alongside Paul May and his team.
